The Port of Santander

When you are moving 5.00m wide loads regularly across Europe, road tolls, together with permit and escort expenses, can add significantly to the final cost. This disregards the fact that, on most occasions, it can take several weeks to set up the necessary clearances. This is always presuming the fact that there are no road works (causing width restrictions) or other complications.
As a consequence, it is important to have an intimate knowledge of all the Ro-Ro ferry routes servicing the costs of Europe - from the Baltic to the Adriatic, from the Irish Sea to the Black Sea. In this instance, an stg 5.00m wide load is seen exiting the ferry terminal at Santander, on its way from Germany to Gijon in Spain - innovative thinking producing the most economic solution.
